The operator’s window into FULCRUM. Mounted securely from behind, inside a fabricated metal housing that protects the panel from the realities of a working shop.

05 — Printer Compartment

5The printer lives inside. Not on a side table.

A dedicated enclosure on the right side with a built-in shelf, reached through a side-opening door with an easy-to-operate knob. Job cards, PBOMs and material issue notes print exactly where they are needed.

06 — Rear Service Cabinet

Directly behind the monitor housing sits the service cabinet. The CPU, power supply and every peripheral connection terminate inside it, under lock and key. Operators cannot reach it; a maintenance engineer is inside it within minutes.

The FULCRUM Smart Shop Floor Terminal is the physical interface between your people and your FULCRUM software. Where it stands determines what it does.

Placed on the shop floor, it is the operator’s window into FULCRUM-SCP — logging on to a job card, reporting production against a machine, and updating manufacturing progress as the work happens rather than at the end of the shift.

Placed in stores, it is the storekeeper’s window into FULCRUM-ERP — printing PBOMs and material issue notes, checking allocations and stock, raising and approving GRNs, and issuing material against an RFID identity.

The terminal is built in our own workshop from fabricated steel, using the same construction standards we apply to process equipment.

Questions we get asked before the first unit ships.

Yes. The rear service cabinet is sized to house a standard CPU along with its power supply and cabling. If you already have a machine you are happy with, it can be fitted into the terminal.

Any standard laser or inkjet printer can be attached. The compartment has a built-in shelf and a side-opening door, so paper is reloaded without moving the printer or opening the service cabinet.

Physically, yes — it houses a standard CPU, monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer. But it is designed around FULCRUM workflows, and the RFID login, job card execution and material issue features assume FULCRUM-SCP or FULCRUM-ERP behind them.

Both are supported. The enclosure accepts a touch or non-touch 20-inch industrial monitor, so the choice depends on whether your operators work with gloves and how much data entry the process needs.
